Truth be told, all the armors you listed are decent and playable. Combat Armor has great ER/DR but weak rad protection. Robot and Trapper offer less ER/DR, but they provide decent rad protection. Marine is probably the best among those mentioned, as it provides good all around protection.There is supposed to be heavy combat plans but I have never seen them in 300+ hours. So check under light category and craft light combat with BOS mod. The only commonish heavy plan types are Robot and Leather.
